Hiring Immediately for Production Supervisor

Position Title: Production Supervisor

Shift Times: 2nd Shift 7am-3:00pm.

Express Detroit Production Supervisor Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

Accomplish department objectives by supervising staff, organizing and monitoring work processes.

• Implement and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
• Complete operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, maintaining reference manuals, and implementing new procedures.
• Provide quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Track production data and track scrap yield data.
• Track various production quality matrix.
• Perform data collection and prepare reports to meet reporting requirements.
• Ensure daily production paperwork is submitted accurately and on time.
• Review and monitor production records, QC records, and other documents to assure compliance.
• Identify problems with production or manufactured goods.
• Communicate solutions for production challenges with quality assurance.
• Schedule and lead various training sessions with production operators. Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
• Accomplish staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
• Control expenses by gathering and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform other task as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications -

• Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Well organized and excellent communication skills with co-workers, customers, supplier, etc.
• Written and oral command of the English language.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Team player.
• Operating safety working equipment and applying safety practices at work while performing duties.
• Read and understand written procedures.
• Some work in high temperature environment.
• Requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Good attendance.
• Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
• · Follow established Company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• · Must be able to work overtime based on the needs of the Company
