Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Fairfax, OH

Compensation: $100-140 K

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering
Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping systems for design, estimating, and sales
Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to evaluate information, analyze problems logically, and develop effective solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Familiarity with PDF viewers (Adobe Acrobat, BlueBeam)
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is a plus

Attend company meetings to discuss work in progress, corporate issues, budgets, business plans, and marketing strategies
Engineer retrofit, repair, and replacement mechanical projects, ensuring timely preparation of engineering reports
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers, fostering multiple connections with key decision-makers such as facility managers, project managers, and purchasing agents
Determine client needs and develop engineered solutions tailored to their requirements
Analyze and market the departments services for related projects, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and design criteria
Collaborate with project managers to monitor the status of engineered work and provide necessary support
Identify and resolve issues on job sites, assisting service technicians with troubleshooting and implementing solutions
Provide prospective solutions to clients, gathering feedback during and after project completion
Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs
