A plastic manufacturing company in Social Circle is looking for a strong and qualified HR Generalist to join their team!

 

Job Duties

• Supports human resources department by screening, testing, and interviewing applicants.
• Maintains human resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates as well as tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
• Sets up and schedules complicated meetings for interviewees, hiring managers, employees, and department heads.
• Manage the weekly or biweekly payroll processes
• Involved in planning, coordinating, and the execution of employee engagement events.
• Assist in administrative or operational tasks as needed.
• Handles Workers Comp. related needs that comply with OSHA regulations.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience within the field of Human Resources
• SHRM-CP preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficient knowledge and application of HR Law & Regulations

 

Shift Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm

 

 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as overtime, commissions, percentages, etc.

 

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in a plant can be loud at times. This position will work within an office environment with the expectation to spend periodic time on the plant production floor engaging with employees.
