Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR/Administrative Manager to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, payroll, timekeeping, experience in a customer service management role and general benefits administration. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle complaints and disputes effectively, and a solid understanding of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Administer payroll and timekeeping processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle employee complaints and disputes, conducting investigations and resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support administrative functions, including office management and coordination of company events.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR management, payroll, and timekeeping.
  • General knowledge of employee benefits administration.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in handling employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
