Accounting Assistant                                                                     

Located in Fort Myers, FL 

 

We are looking for an accounting specialist for a manufacturing company. Excellent opportunity for growth and benefits. 
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.  Intermediate knowledge of Excel is a must.

Responsibilities include:

• Processes all invoices from suppliers
• Excel knowledge of tables and report generation
• Maintains accounts payable and processes payments
• Reviews and resolves vendor discrepancies
• Processes all invoices to customers
• Processes and maintains all accounts receivable
• Monitors all past due accounts receivable and interfaces with accounts payable department of customers
• Maintains payroll and issues paychecks
• Works with purchasing to reconcile invoices and purchase orders
• Creates and maintain financial records for completed document files
• Assists in analysis support and reporting as needed by accounting administrator
• Processes Incoming mail and distributes
• Flexible with tasks as priorities change frequently, able to multi-task
• Expert Troubleshooter – comes with solutions to issues
• Analyze evidence and determines best solutions
• Must be a quick learner – detailed in their work, willing and eager to lean and adapt quickly
