Salary: $19.75

Express Employment Professionals is looking to hire Manufacturing Assemblers for a company located in North Austin who manufactures battery-free flywheel uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and energy storage products. You will perform electrical work and mechanical assembly on product lines and assists with all types of assembly work to meet production and quality goals.

Starting Pay: $19.75/HR 

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm 

Responsibilities:

Performs various assembly tasks on product lines.
Use of electrical and mechanical assembly tools including torque wrenches, crimpers, painting, cutting, grinding tools, etc.
Ability to read and understand written instructions.
Ability to read and follow assembly drawings.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Follows quality guidelines and practices.
 Follows safety guidelines and practices.
Participates in and satisfactorily completes all required training related to job. 
Performs other duties or special projects as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

Prior work experience in industrial manufacturing environment (e.g., includes facilities that manufacture heavy construction equipment, turbines & generators, transformers or related industries) preferred.
 2+ years’ assembly experience preferred.
 2+ years’ experience using electrical and mechanical assembly tools including torque wrenches, crimpers, painting, cutting, grinding tools preferred.
