Job Title: AZ Driver / Shipper Receiver

Day Shift - Monday - Friday

Shift Time: Monday- Friday – 6:30AM- 3:00PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver / Shipper Receiver to join our client in Kitchener, ON. This dual-role position requires an individual who can handle both the driving responsibilities of an AZ driver and the operational duties of a shipper/receiver. A valid tow motor (forklift) license is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an AZ-class vehicle for the transportation of goods between locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and company locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.

Shipping and Receiving:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
• Prepare and package products for shipping, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift, ensuring safe handling of products.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule shipments and deliveries.

General Duties:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating vehicles and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution
- AZ Driver license, with 3-5 years MANUEL driving experience
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory purposes
- Proficiency in using forklifts for material handling
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
