Essential Duties:

• Represent the company in designing, purchasing, and constructing residential roof and floor systems.
• Perform and analyze designs, produce layouts, and develop details from customer concepts.
• Engage with customers to assess needs, review and analyze layouts, and provide recommendations.
• Select materials, manage construction documents and contracts, and oversee structural alterations.
• Present and follow up on new jobs, ensure compliance with building codes, and solve customer challenges.
• Conduct job site inspections, resolve design discrepancies, and assist in training new associates.
• Recommend policy improvements and commit to continuous quality improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of drafting experience in construction or related industry.

Competencies:

• Proficient in technical writing, communication, blueprint interpretation, and design programs.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, AUTO CAD, and MITEK software.

Work Environment / Physical Activity:

• Office and outdoor settings with variable temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
