Salary: $22-$25/hr

We are actively recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company in Leominster, MA. This position is responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds, coordinating with contractors for building projects, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and providing general support to various departments.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform periodic maintenance on building and equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work.

• Schedule and conduct regular maintenance to ensure equipment functionality and minimize breakdowns.

• Monitor contracted cleaners, address issues, and report inefficiencies.

• Maintain company vehicle, including gas, maintenance, and inspections.

• Manage waste disposal, including ordering trash containers.

• Maintain and organize maintenance tools and equipment.

• Perform groundskeeping tasks, such as mowing lawns, clearing walkways, and snow removal.

• Respond to alarm calls and carry out emergency repairs as needed.

• Research and coordinate with contractors, submit requests for proposals.

Requirements:

• Previous mechanical, maintenance or similar skills preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift and other maintenance equipment strongly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to drive company vehicle for errands
• Previous experience with carpentry, electrical, plumbing experience a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs throughout the day
