An Exciting Food Manufacturing organization in the Mississauga area is looking for a committed, detail-oriented Packaging and Order Fulfillment Associate to join their team on a permanent basis. 

 

Are you a team player with strong organizational skills an attention to detail, and do you have a passion for food, people and love a fast-paced production environment?  If you are and have 3+ years of experience ideally within food manufacturing / packaging, shipping and order fulfilment within a warehouse environment, then this role may be right for you.  Interested?  Read on……

 

What Does the Company Offer:

• This Packaging and Order Fulfillment Associate position is a permanent role and offers a competitive salary (Depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday (day shift 8:30am -4:30pm)
• After your probation period, our client offers:

What’s The Responsibilities of the Role:

• Blending and grinding product within a semi automatic environment
• Follow GMP guidelines regarding finishing and preparation
• Packing product and preparing for shipments
• Manually measure and label food containers to ensure freshness
• Manually perform Quality control measures at every stage of the packaging process
• Available to work overtime hours during peak periods

Qualification For the Role:

• 3+ years of experience within a warehouse, packaging / fulfillment manufacturing environment would be a definite asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• High attention to detail
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Basic computer skills
