Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Senior Buyer to fill an immediate Direct Hire opening for a Machining Client in Springdale, OH!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing and supply chain strategies.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
• Identify and develop new suppliers.
• Monitor key performance indicators for continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships through effective communication and fair negotiations.
• Support engineering changes and product launches.
• Secure raw materials, equipment, and services.
• Manage cost savings and achieve financial objectives.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
• Adhere to company spending guidelines and compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of purchasing experience; leadership preferred.
• Skilled in vendor management and ERP/MRP systems; E2 a plus.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices and contract negotiation.
• Strong strategic judgment and negotiation skills.
• Familiar with machining/manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Integrity, strong drive for success, excellent communication skills.
• Self-directed, organized, able to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

Compensation: $85-110K
