A local company is seeking a full-time Accountant to join their accounting department. You’ll be responsible for preparing, reviewing and analyzing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

As an Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of duties such as organizing and update financial records as needed (digital and physical), analyzing transactions and prepare reports, performing regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures and investments and regularly monitoring bookkeeping activities.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or close to graduating

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Knowledge of GAAP

* Advanced MS Excel knowledge

* Strong numeracy and analytical skills

* Good problem-solving and time management skills

* Highly organized and detail-oriented

Evaluation-to-hire position

Hours are Monday through Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm. Pay rate is $25.81/hour.
