Cut and Trim - Fabric/Leather Cutter Job Summary: A furniture company in the Kentwood area is looking for a Cut and Trim associate to join their team. This is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veteran/Disability Employer
Cut and Trim - Fabric/Leather Cutter Requirements:
- Lay out textiles and leathers on cutting table
- Cut different kinds of material
- Use various cutting tools
- Inspecting and marking defects
- Cut and trim threads for and from fabric
- Assemble fabric for office furniture orders
- Flexible to help in other areas as needed
Schedule & Pay:
- 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am with overtime as required
- $17.50/HR
Cut and Trim Fabric/Leather Cutter Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent Attendance
- Lifting up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for duration of the shift
- Ability to occasionally walk, bend, crouch, kneel
- A great eye for color and the ability to follow work orders is also necessary
- High school diploma or GED
