Job Title: Skid Steer Operator
 
Pay: $18 per hour
 
Schedule: Day Shift Between 6:00 AM to 5:00PM (overtime as needed)
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Skid Steer Operator. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly skid-steer loaders. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating and maintaining the skid-steer, as well as performing other tasks as assigned. The role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, as well as mechanical knowledge. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Operate a skid-steer loader in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the skid-steer, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting the machine.
  • Conduct regular safety checks on the skid-steer and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Ensure the skid-steer is properly secured and stored when not in use.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly skid-steer loaders.
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Commercial driving experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks and work in varying weather conditions.
  • A valid driver''s license is required.
