Fabricator Operator | 1st shift | M-Th 5:45AM-4:15 PM | $19.80/hour | Dekalb, IL 

Company Overview:
Join our team as a Fabricator Operator! We are dedicated to safety, quality, and productivity, and we are seeking a skilled individual to operate fabrication equipment in our heavy industrial manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and productively set up and operate fabrication equipment, including the Fabricator and Gag Bar, following standard operating procedures.
• Process all transactions accurately and in a timely manner in company systems.
• Perform first, in-process, and final inspection using various measuring instruments to ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Complete any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Physical Requirements:

• MUST be able to be on your feet for 10+hrs
• Unloading sheets and other duties as assigned
• Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Repetitive motion

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2+ years of experience in heavy manufacturing environment.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of industrial machinery.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
