School Crossing Guard Needed in Mankato

• Monday - Friday | 7:15am - 8:15am or 2:15pm - 3:15pm
• Follows the ISD 77 School Calendar
• $11.00/hour
• Providing a safe environment for school age children to cross the street at busy intersections
• Arrival to school shift & post school shift- 1 hour for each shift available depending on vacancies
• A neon flag & vest are provided by Express to ensure your visibility to traffic

 

Job Duties

• watch for a gap in traffic, step out into the intersection, make eye contact with the driver''s of vehicles, stop in the middle of the intersection with your flag held high, and wave the children across the street once all traffic has stopped and you feel it''s safe enough for children to cross. Stay in the middle until all children are off the street and return to your post.
