We are Hiring for a Test technologist for one of our clients in Mississauga.

SCOPE

Develop s/w and h/w solution for products and troubleshoot PCB and final assembly units.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop s/w and h/w solution for manufacturing test
Assist Technician in testing and debug ongoing production issues
Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing digital/analog circuits
Responsible for communicating finding to production managers and engineering while ensuring all issues reach a closure
Able to root-cause issues and decipher between process and design so that the appropriate members are actioned
Ensures quality standards are maintained all through the production process
Position may involve physical demands such as use of microscope for circuit inspection, standing, sitting and lifting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have be able to program in Python, C# or other language
Experience with Raspberry Pi or other controllers is a plus
Must able to read and understand electronic design schematics, BOMs and engineering procedures
Must be able to use instruments such as Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Digital Multi Meter, Current Probe, function generator and soldering iron
CAN protocol and CADStar or another layout tool knowledge would be an asset
Knowledge of quality systems and ESD control
Team player, hardworking, reliable, detail oriented, fast learner and energetic
Experience with IPC Standards with respect to PCB repair and ISO 9002 would be an asset
Must be able to seamlessly switch focus as priorities change in an extremely dynamic and fluid environment
