1st and 2nd shift available

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Light duty as directed, such as placing ingredients and/or units on production line, and inspecting product.
• Maintains proper flour level in flour dusters.
• Remove triangle scrap dough.
• Maintain proper cheese level in V-mag hopper.
• Assist in scrap dough web removal.
• Help align cheese and filling shots.
• Reports to shift supervisor and/ or line lead any deficiencies which could affect the finished product quality.
• Maintains sanitary work methods and conditions at all times; keeps work area clean.
• Reports all accidents/injuries and unsafe conditions to Shift Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate in English commensurate with the requirements of this position.
• Must be able to work with limited supervision. Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. Dust/particle masks are available for those sensitive to airborne particles.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
