Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Westfield, IN has asked us to help them find Weekend Welder Associates to join their growing team. This job is perfect for someone seeking extra income and/or part-time work

Position: Weekend Shift Robotic Welder

Location: Westfield, IN

Schedule:

• Friday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Total Hours: 17.5 hours

Pay: $16 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
Bonus: $100 weekly attendance bonus for perfect attendance on both Friday and Saturday.

 

Job Duties:

• Operate Robotic Weld machines and perform MIG / Spot Welding to manufacture products according to work instructions and ensure compliance with Quality Standards.
• Conduct visual inspection of parts and welds.
• Operate cell efficiently to meet daily production schedules and flex to various workstations during the shift.
• Accurately report all required paperwork and labor hours.
• Clean and maintain machines and working area to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Wear all appropriate safety equipment and follow all company safety procedures.
• Perform all other essential functions assigned by management based on company needs.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineers and Manufacturing Engineering during the early stages of prototyping to optimize product designs for value and manufacturability.

Requirements:

• Experience with MIG / Spot Welding and operating Robotic Weld machines.
• Ability to perform visual inspections and maintain high-quality standards.
• Flexibility to work at various workstations.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate safety equipment.
