Job Summary                                                Lean Installation Tech

We are searching for a Lead Installation HVAC Tech for a well-known HVAC company in Ft Myers.

The Lead HVAC Install Tech is responsible for overseeing the installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. This role involves leading a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adhering to safety standards, and meeting project deadlines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC installation, strong leadership skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems on-site.

Leadership & Supervision: Lead a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful completion of installation projects.

Installation: Oversee and perform the installation of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, ductwork, and related components.

Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet company standards and client specifications, conducting inspections and tests as needed.

Project Management: Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects, managing schedules and resources effectively.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for the team and clients.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to explain the installation process, answer questions, and address any concerns they may have.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any issues that arise during installation, providing technical expertise and solutions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.

 

Qualifications:

?  Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

?  Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems is preferred.

?  Certifications: Valid HVAC certification and EPA 608 certification. NATE certification is a plus.

?  Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, and expertise in HVAC installation techniques.

?  Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physical labor for extended periods.

 

Position Type: Full Time Direct Hire

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 depending on experience

Schedule:   7am-4pm
