Machine Operator Job Highlights:

• Schedule: 1st Shift - 5a-5p, rotating days. 
• Pay: $20-22 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary:

As a Machine Operator, you will prepare machines and materials for production, identify and solve problems, check quality of products throughout production, and troubleshoot quality issues. These tasks involve loading materials, adjusting the machine, and monitoring the machine throughout production.

 

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up machine and make necessary changes to ensure quality material is produced
• Load materials onto the machine, including roll changes
• Identify and troubleshoot machine quality, waste, delay, and safety concerns
• Make diameter, perforation cut, tension, and log saw adjustments as needed
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure product specifications are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of machine operating experience (in the paper converting a plus)
• Attention to detail, self-motivation, good communication skills, and willingness to learn
• Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled and required by the company
• Basic computer knowledge
