A Green Bay area hospital is looking to add a Financial Counselor/Customer Service Representative to their team! The Financial Counselor/Customer Service Representative will be responsible for entering data, contacting insurance providers, collecting insurance co-payments and deductibles. The Financial Counselor/Customer Service Representative must have excellent computer, communication and customer service skills. Must be able to verify required immunizations.

Financial Counselor/Customer Service Representative Job highlights:

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
• $18.00/hour
• This is a TEMPORARY position lasting about 6 months (possibly longer)

What you will be doing:

• Communicate with patients regarding payment plans and insurance
• Contacting Insurance providers offices
• Entering patient information into computer systems
• Using work queues to ensure patient authorizations are secure prior to date of service
• Collect proper insurance information using various software
• Check insurance eligibility through web-based applications
• Answer inbound phone calls
• Other duties as assigned

• Healthcare/medical experience is a plus
