Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately estimate project costs and resources.
• Analyze plans, specifications, and site conditions.
• Prepare detailed and competitive bids.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs and assist in assembling bid items using takeoff software.
• Review plans, specifications, and other bidding documents under the guidance of senior estimators.
• Support bid communication, including change orders, revisions, and value engineering requests.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, management, and sales teams.
• Aid in creating comprehensive landscape and irrigation designs, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain and update knowledge on irrigation regulations, inspection requirements, and emerging technologies.
• Provide regular reports and updates to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong background in landscape estimating.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic understanding of landscape construction processes, materials, and equipment (internship or coursework experience is acceptable).
• Ability to conduct thorough site analyses and calculate related quantities for soil, plants, mulch, etc.
