Job Title: Restaurant Equipment HVAC Technician (Specializing in Hot or Cold Systems for Restaurants)

Location: Columbus Ohio area 

Job Type: Full-time  

Salary: $35 - $40 an hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team, specializing in either hot or cold HVAC systems for restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC systems, with specific expertise in either heating or cooling solutions tailored to the unique needs of the restaurant industry.

 

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, with a focus on either heating or cooling systems, in restaurant settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid system failures.
• Collaborate with restaurant owners and managers to determine HVAC needs and provide customized solutions.
• Ensure all HVAC systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
• Be available for occasional weekend work as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or formal HVAC training preferred.
• Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
• Proven experience as a commercial HVAC technician, with a focus on restaurant systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to perform HVAC-related tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
