Salary: $25-$35 per hour

Job Summary: The Construction Administrator is responsible for overseeing administrative functions related to construction projects. This role involves managing documentation, coordinating between project teams and clients, and ensuring that all administrative aspects of construction projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Documentation:

    • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and submittals.
    • Ensure that all project files are accurately organized and up-to-date.
    • Process and track project-related invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
  • Coordination and Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including preparation of agendas and meeting minutes.
    • Address and resolve administrative issues or concerns related to construction projects.
  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contract requirements.
    • Assist with the preparation of progress reports and other project-related documentation for management and stakeholders.
    • Monitor project schedules and assist with tracking project milestones and deadlines.
  • Contract Administration:

    • Review and process contract documents, including agreements, amendments, and change orders.
    • Track contract performance and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
    • Coordinate with legal and insurance teams to manage risk and compliance.
  • Support and Assistance:

    • Provide administrative support to project managers and construction teams as needed.
    • Assist with project scheduling and resource allocation.
    • Manage and update project management software and tools.
  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
