Hours:  Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with occasional flexibility)
Salary: $18-20/hr based on experience

 

About:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Cutter to join our client's team with a textile manufacturing facility in Westfield, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying out fabric and cutting it using an electric saw that rolls on the table. This role involves cutting patterns from 10-50 layers of fabric, each up to 12 yards long.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lay out fabric and cut patterns using an electric saw.
• Cut through 10-50 layers of fabric, each up to 12 yards long.
• Count and bundle cut parts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Strap and label each roll of fabric.
• Assist packers with folding and packing tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to handle and move large rolls of fabric
