Quality Manager / Food Manufacturing 

Responsibilities:

• Lead food safety, product quality, and GMP compliance efforts.
• Serve as liaison for governmental inspections and corporate audits.
• Audit plant sanitation and ensure pest control compliance.
• Train and resource Quality Assurance staff; conduct annual SQF, GMP, and Food Safety training.
• Monitor HACCP, HARPC, SSOPs, and allergen programs, and ensure record-keeping compliance.
• Investigate consumer comments, collaborate on action plans, and provide supplier feedback.
• Assist in product development, audits, and continuous improvement in production.
• Implement and improve SQF 2000 Systems.
• Supervise and coach direct reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance Lab.
• Previous experience as a Lead in the Quality Industry.
• Previous experience in Food Manufacturing Safety and Microbiological Concepts.
• Preventative Control Qualified Individual Certification.
• SQF Practitioner Certified.
• Read and interpret scientific/technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Apply statistical process control concepts.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Compensation: $90-130K
