Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Collect and manage accounts receivable (A/R)
• Assist in handling day-to-day accounting transactions
• Prepare and file monthly & quarterly tax returns
• Manage the filing of business licenses on a monthly and annual basis
• Prepare journal entries as needed
• Assist in the monthly closing of financial statements
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations, including accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R)
• Support the coordination of the annual audit process
• Manage employee credit card transaction coding and receipt validation during month-end
• Contribute to process improvements and recommend changes to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function
