GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Seamstress Level I II & III will be responsible for the fabrication and construction of theatrical and acoustical curtains, along with other fabric-related projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in the construction of soft goods, including cutting, sewing, installing rivets and grommets, and manipulating curtain panels of various sizes.
• Adhere to Corporate Policy as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Follow all safety guidelines as described in the Shop Safety Rules.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Proficient in using single needle heavy-duty industrial sewing machines.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience working with heavy velour and other fabrics.
• Ability to lift 25-35 pounds.
• Capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Available to work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Voluntary overtime may be required as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1-10 years of sewing experience.
• Experience with industrial sewing machines is a plus.
• Assembly line experience is also a plus.
