Express in Caldwell is looking for a Non-Profit Events Co-Ordinator.  

Pay: $18 - $20+ per hour DOE

Hours: Monday-Friday. Part-time to start, likely to become full time within months of starting. Hybrid of in office and remote considered. Must live within commuting distance of Caldwell, ID. (Special events may require work to be on the weekends, mornings or evenings)

Job Summary
We are looking for someone who is flexible, organized, and is capable of multi-tasking at a fast rate. This candidate will have experience in coordinating projects and events for a couple hundred people or more. The ideal candidate will be able to set up, attend, and coordinate committees, and sell sponsorships. Along with assisting staff activities, events, and other Treasure Valley organizations.

Skills and Knowledge
•Demonstrate skill in implementing and coordinating programs, projects and events
•Sell and create additional sponsorships for events
•Written and verbal communication skills are essential
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
•Intermediate computer skills
•Experience in Microsoft software products preferred
•Experience in marketing on social platforms preferred
•Ability to handle multiple tasks, and fluctuating work volumes
•Be able to work independently and meet deadlines

Essential Functions:
•Ensure committees are fulfilling their commitments
•Assist with obtaining hosts, sponsors, community update speakers, business spotlights, etc.
•Participate in events and community activities as requested
•Work with the CEO and Executive Assistant to establish a budget for marketing/promotion of events, projects and activities
•Provide information for social media, website etc. on projects and events regularly to the Communication’s manager
•Maintain current information in a database including the volunteers, events and projects associated with this position
•Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
