Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Human Resources Representative to join our team. This role will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and training, specifically tailored to the unique needs and regulations of the fire protection sector. The ideal candidate will help foster a positive work environment and ensure that our employees are well-supported throughout their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities for new hires.

• Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Address employee concerns and mediate conflict when necessary to promote a positive workplace culture.

• HR Compliance: Maintain knowledge of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance within the organization. Assist with audits and reporting as required.

• Benefits Administration: Support employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries, managing the open enrollment process, and coordinating benefits orientation sessions.

• Training and Development: Assist in organizing training programs and professional development opportunities for staff, ensuring employees have access to necessary resources.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements, including personal information, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.

• Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with company objectives and provide clarity for employees.

• Performance Management: Assist in the performance management process by tracking evaluations and providing support for managers in conducting performance reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably within the fire protection or related safety industries.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and industry-specific regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across various levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (HRIS) for record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Knowledge of fire protection regulations and safety standards is a plus.

Located in: Rockwall, TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday/8 AM to 5 PM 

Pay: $55K/YR (Depending on experience and industry knowledge) Is negotiable!
