We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant.

As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing home care, emergency medicine, and behavioral health. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with our medical staff to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care possible.

Duties:

• - Assist patients with daily living activities, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
• - Provide bedside care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• - Assist with feeding and hydration, as needed.
• - Document patient information and medical records accurately.
• - Utilize electronic clinical systems, such as eClinicalWorks, to update patient records and track patient care.
• - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• - Participate in hospice care and PICU rounds.
• - Provide care for patients in various settings, including nursing homes and pediatric units.
• - Perform tasks as directed by licensed nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• - High school diploma or equivalent required.
• - Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program or equivalent experience.
• - Current certification as a nursing assistant, as required by the state.
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• - Experience working in a nursing home, hospital, or hospice care setting.
• - Proficiency with electronic clinical systems and medical records.
• - Knowledge of behavioral health and emergency medicine.
• - Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
• - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• - Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
