South Tangipahoa area company looking for several FULL TIME, CDL-A and CDL-B LOCAL Delivery Truck Drivers

Pay: $20-$23 depending on experience.

 

Overview:

In this role, you'll be responsible for transporting and delivering various products safely across Louisiana and the Gulf Coast Region. You'll manage deliveries with a focus on excellent customer service and adherence to DOT regulations. You will be home every evening.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure all paperwork and equipment are in order.

- Deliver products to customer sites accurately and timely.

- Collect payments as per invoices and handle necessary paperwork.

- Return to the yard, manage returns, and coordinate with office.

 

Qualifications:

- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B with a clean driving record.

- At least one year of experience.

- At least 18 years of age.

- Basic knowledge of paperwork.

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

-Must have integrity and character.

-Be able to supply two (2) working references of other driver jobs.

 

Education & Experience:

- High school diploma or GED required.

- Minimum of 1 year of Class A driving experience preferred.

- Experience in distribution and customer service preferred.

 

Physical Demands:

- Ability to lift and move objects weighing 40-60 pounds regularly, up to 75 pounds occasionally.

- Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including coolers and freezers.
