Job Responsibilities:

• Perform basic landscape maintenance tasks including line trimming and edging of ornamental landscape beds.
• Conduct herbicide spot spraying using a backpack sprayer.
• Pull weeds as needed to maintain the appearance of landscape beds.
• Apply mulch to ornamental landscape beds and around palm/tree rings.
• Manage litter control across landscape and hardscape areas.
• Trim hedges and ornamental plants to maintain their health and appearance.
• Spot fertilize ornamental landscape beds to ensure optimal plant growth.
• Conduct basic maintenance on small gas-powered tools, including replacing air filters, blades, and cleaning carburetors.
• Identify and report any issues with the irrigation system, including broken heads, washouts, and dry spots.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with herbicide application and basic tool maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
