Our client in Euclid has a need for a first shift Tool & Die Maker. 

 

Pay / Shift

• Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 
• DOE $19.00-$29.00

  

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:    To build or repair all types, sizes, and shapes of jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies.  Assemble and try out complex tools and dies on manual, transfer and progressive press dies.  To support the Production Department and Quality Department in producing quality expectations. To support a team structure 

 

DETAILS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate knowledge of machine use and maintenance.
• Reads and interprets blueprints or works from verbal or written instructions or from the part to be copied or fitted.
• Inspection of work, using precision measuring and gaging tools.
• Performs operations involved in producing jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies.
• Helps set up and test dies to produce a product to specifications, tracing die difficulties to their source and correcting same.
• Identify problems, detect causes, plan solutions, and repair dies according to customer engineering and production specifications.
• Accurately interpreting die design drawings
• Follows safety and company rules as set forth in the employee handbook and within the department.
• Accurately and timely process all paperwork.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintain good attendance record
• Strong math skills.
• Possess a professional Journeyman Tool and Die Certificate or five years experience
• Ability to lift up to 50#
