JOB SUMMARY
Manages the Loan Administration department, including the processes of loan accounting, loan processing, post-funding, real estate processing and records to ensure productivity and service levels within established standards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Sets measurable departmental goals and benchmarks
  • Develop and implement procedures for productivity, operations efficiency, and expense control
  • Monitor daily production to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Provide status reports and other reports to senior management as necessary
  • Stays informed of industry developments and trends
  • Manages the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating, and counseling of reporting staff
  • Participates in job-specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary
  • Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual
    customer activity per Bank policy, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel
  • Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations, and ensures adherence to the respective department personnel
  • Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML, and
    ensures adherence by the respective department personnel


QUALIFICATIONS

  • BBA in Finance or Accounting (work experience may be substituted for educational requirement)
  • Five years of experience in loan administration, including a minimum of two years as a supervisor
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial and real estate loan documentation, processing and loan accounting
  • Computer literacy in Windows, Microsoft Excel and Word, and other applications
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills to evaluate situations and to determine the proper course of action
  • Attention to detail and acute mental concentration for accurately performing tasks with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and occasional Saturdays and extended hours
  • Ten years of prior loan operations experience is preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
