Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find local people. Our client is looking for Crew Drivers to join their team in Frederick, MD. This is a Direct Hire.

The company rescues unwanted food scraps from the landfill, helping to retain valuable nutrients by converting the food scraps into a rich soil amendment – compost. The company has grown to serve thousands of homes, businesses, communities and governments throughout Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, and has composted tens of millions of pounds of organic material.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday (7:00am-3:30pm) 

Pay: 

• $20-$21/per hour. 

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial company vehicles safely
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles and equipment
• Provide excellent customer service
• Collect food scraps from customers and dispose it into truck
• Clean customer bins and provide supplies when necessary
• Rigorous compliance with safety and operational procedures
• Compliance with all DOT regulations
• Work independently and with a team

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of related driving experience (16ft-20ft box truck or larger) 
• Excellent driving skills
• Excellent driving record
• DOT-regulated commercial driving experience (NO CDL required)
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card
• Customer service skills
• Ability to lift 60 pounds up to 250 times per day
• Ability to be on feet for most of the day
• Ability to get in and out of commercial vehicle up to 250 times per day
• Disciplined approach to safety
• Ability to use GPS and route management software
• Access to smartphone with internet connection
• Reliable and on-time attendance to work location
