Salary: $17.00-20.00/ hour

A company in Carrollton is looking for an experienced Weld Set-up Technician. The Weld Set-Up Technician is responsible for designing, repairing, and installing intricate machinery parts used in manufacturing metal parts. The individual will set up cutting tools and stamping tools on machines that are used for shaping metal. 

 

Essential Duties:

• Weld specific sections or repair cracks
• Verify specifications, using calipers
• Perform torque/push-out tests 
• Use Allen wrenches and various other hand tools

Requirements:

• Must have machinery knowledge
• Must be able to read and create blueprints
• Must have experience welding
• Detail oriented 

Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday- Friday, 3:30 pm-11:30 pm

Pay: $17-$20/hour (Possibly more based on experience)
