Our client, a mission driven food organization in Boston, is looking for CDL Drivers (Class A) to join their growing team!

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay: $28.00/hr

Position Summary:

The CDL Class A driver is responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of food products to various locations throughout the Eastern Massachusetts community. The driver is expected to complete several transportation and operations-based tasks, including...

• Safe operation of a Class A and B vehicles
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Accurately document travel, time worked, breaks, etc. via written and electronic logging methods
• Ability to work independently with an assigned schedule
• Provide excellent customer service to customers
• Ability to complete safe operation of electric pallet jack and other material handling equipment at all times
• Complying with all company and state policies

Qualifications and Experience of the CDL Driver (Class A):

• Class A Commercial Drivers License
• DOT Medical Card
• Excellent driving record
• 3 or more years of continuous Class A & B CDL driving experience, with specific knowledge on liftgates and reefers
• Driver must pass a background check and DOT drug and alcohol test
• Electric pallet jack and forklift experience (a plus)
• Experience working in a refrigerated truck (a plus)
