Express has partnered with a local Credit Union and we are seeking a Generalist who will handle multiple roles within their office. This person will be responsible for serving as a liaison between the member and the credit union. Provide account information by phone, email, and in person. Open accounts for members, resolve issues, promote the credit union products and services, and provide a variety of transactional services. This is a full time opportunity with room for growth.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:15am-5:15pm

Pay: Starting at $18/hr

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Operate daily cash drawer
• Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner
• Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions
• Respond to members'' requests, problems, and complaints or direct them to the appropriate staff for assistance
• Open new accounts and provide the member with all necessary information for membership
• Maintain existing accounts
• Handle member requests for transfers, loan payments, withdrawals, check requests, wire fund transfers, and any other transaction requests received.
• Process daily mail-member transactions
• Assist with ACH Processing

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Associates degree in business, finance or related field preferred OR at least 2 years of prior banking experience
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Dependable
• Committed to providing great service
• Basic cash handling, keyboard, and computer skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task
• Enjoy working in a small office environment

This position is Monday-Friday only, closed on weekends and all major holidays.  The Credit Union offers excellent training, leadership, and support along with competitive compensation.
