Duties:

Issue purchase orders for assigned products and services.

Build and maintain supplier relationships to secure the best price, service, quality and delivery.  Manage supplier performance.  Identify new and current key suppliers.

 

Requirements:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain - manufacturing environment desired.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent business-related field, preferred. 

CPM or APICS certification desired.

Ability to read drawing and discuss technical requirements such as dimensions, tolerances, finishes, and other aspects of manufacturing with suppliers.
