Salary: $18.00-$19.00/HR

Machine Operator II Job Summary: A premier foam manufacturing company located in Byron Center, MI is seeking a skilled Machine Operator II for their thriving organization. This is an employee-owned company with profit sharing. 

 

Machine Operator II Requirements:

• Working with a block of foam and cutting the foam to customer specifications
• Using math and measuring this operator will maximize the cuts and yield for orders
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to load and unload foam

Schedule & Pay: 

• 1st shift from 5:00am-1:00pm, Monday - Friday with some extra hours and some overtime on Saturday
• $18.00-$19.00/HR, based on experience 

Machine Operator II Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of technical machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent math and measuring skills and the ability to use a calculator
• Reliable and excellent attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Ability to look at a print and use calculations to maximize the yield from a foam block
