Diesel Diagnostician

Located in Meriden, CT

Salary: $34-$50/hr BOE

Diesel Diagnostician-  Full Time, Mon-Fri 7am-3pm

Responsibilities:

• Use of diagnostic tools to troubleshoot service & repair needs
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Perform diagnostic tests on diesel systems and translate the results to provide suitable solutions
• Perform scheduled services on variety of equipment and trucks.
• Read work orders to evaluate and perform tasks required to complete repairs
• Record parts used and repairs completed
• Provide technical guidance and support to peers if needed
• Pickup and delivery of parts

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working on diesel trucks, trailers, tractors, and equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License, CDL a plus.
• Working knowledge of diesel systems as well as mechanical and electrical principals
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics.
• Good communication and attention to details
• Excellent customer service skills
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines
