Maintenance Technician - up to $27 per hour

2nd Shift - Hours: 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.  

Our client in Northbrook is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team! The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the manufacturing plant's equipment and facilities, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely. This role includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and conducting repairs as needed. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth operation within the plant.

 

Duties for the Maintenance Technician:

• Performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
• Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of equipment
• Assisting with installations and setups of new machinery
• Managing and maintaining the supply inventory for maintenance materials
• Collaborating with other team members to resolve issues and improve efficiency
• Assisting with moving equipment and setting up workstations as needs
  
  

Requirements for the Maintenance Technician:

• English speaking; bilingual is a plus
• Experienced in troubleshooting mechanical equipment
• Electrical knowledge is a plus
• Must be able to interpret Blueprints or Drawings
• Team player
• Positive attitude
