Salary: $20-$28.00 DOE

SUMMARY: Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant to expedite production by performing the following duties. Must have 5 years of hands on related experience.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews master production schedule and release work orders after review complete.
  • Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.
  • Generate cycle counts for inventory team and verify material adjustments.
  • Establishes priorities for specific customer orders.
  • Analyzes work orders to determine information such as material quantities, required dates and material issues to be planned and sequenced in support of the manufacturing requirements
  • Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in process production reports, and status and location of materials.
  • Establishes minimum / maximum quantities for critical materials and components to prevent material shortages and expedites.
  • Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
  • Recommends measures to improve material flow and handling.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Full time, Office Hours M-F, some Saturdays in Oxnard CA.
