Temporary Construction Superintendent

$38.00 per hour

Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM

Edinburg, TX 

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, additional education or certifications would be a plus

Experience Requirements: At least 6 months-1 year of previous Construction Superintendent experience

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing project planning from start to finish, including making the schedules and confirming required materials.
• Working and reporting to the Project Manager and his team such as Contractors, Subcontractors, and other workers to ensure smooth operations.
• Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met.
• Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
• Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction or extractive workers.
• Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.
• Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
• Estimate materials needed and worker requirements to complete jobs.
• Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
• Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery as needed.
• Record information, such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.
