Job Description:

As a Heat Press Operator at Express, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of our pipe products. You will be responsible for operating heat press machines to apply heat-sensitive coatings, seals, or finishes to our pipes and tubing, ensuring that our products meet industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heat press machines to apply coatings, seals, or other finishes to pipes and tubing.
• Set up and calibrate machines according to product specifications, including temperature, pressure, and time settings.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and compliance with production standards.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on heat press machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet production schedules and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating heat press machines or similar industrial equipment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of heat press processes and materials used in pipe manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, work orders, and machine settings.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality, defect-free products.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
