Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver with a DOT certification to join our growing team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to our customers safely and on time, providing excellent service throughout the delivery process. This position requires adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving & Delivery:

  • Operate company vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
  • Safely load, transport, and unload products to various customer locations.
  • Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues to the fleet manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and out.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional service to customers during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times, delays, or other relevant information.
  • Collect and process payments when necessary, following company protocols.

• Documentation & Compliance:

  • Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork, including delivery logs, invoices, and inspection reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Adhere to company safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• DOT medical card required.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to [specified weight], as required.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use GPS and other navigation tools efficiently.

Work Environment:

• This role involves driving for extended periods and may include working in various weather conditions.
• May require loading and unloading of goods, which includes some physical labor.
