Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, electrical maintenance, and the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our industrial equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• HVAC Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Electrical Systems: Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuits, and control panels. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
• Wiring Diagrams: Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints to diagnose issues and implement repairs or upgrades.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and HVAC issues efficiently. Perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Update maintenance logs and provide reports as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or potential improvements.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role, with a strong emphasis on HVAC and electrical systems.
• Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an associate degree in HVAC, electrical technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as EPA certification for HVAC, Journeyman Electrician, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
