HR Generalist

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated HR Generalist to join our team.

Job Summary

The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage various HR tasks, support employees, and collaborate with management to drive HR initiatives that align with the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration into the company.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolving issues as needed.
    • Facilitate conflict resolution and support positive employee relations practices.
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal setting.
    • Support managers in addressing performance issues and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Compliance and Policy Administration:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively to employees.
  • Training and Development:
    • Coordinate training programs and professional development opportunities for employees.
    • Identify training needs and support the development of internal training resources.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Assist with compensation and benefits administration, including salary benchmarking, benefits enrollment, and employee inquiries.
    • Support the annual benefits open enrollment process and manage employee benefits programs.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
    • Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and HR strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.

Additional Information for the HR Generalist

·         Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

·         Pay: 50k-60k (based on experience)

·         Work Location: In person – Roseville
